The renewed Pulp & Beyond 2024 event, which takes place on 9-11 April 2024 at Messukeskus in Helsinki opens a new era for the legendary PulPaper conference and exhibition in many ways. The event is more efficient, sustainable and functional, and includes many new features. Read more about the event and its versatile programme here.
Special programme for students on Thursday 11 April
On the second day of the exhibition, the university students around Finland are invited to invade the event. Bus transportations will be arranged e.g. from Åbo Akademi (Turku), TAMK & TUNI (Tampere), Lappeenranta (LUT-university) and XAMK (Savonlinna campus).
The event area will be open from 9 am to 4 pm, during which it is possible to circle around the stands and listen to interesting presentations. On Thursday, keynote speakers on Pulp & Beyond Main stage will include e.g. CEO Risto E.J. Penttilä from Nordic West Office, Director Innovation Michael Strobl from MM Board and as panelists e.g. CTO Petri Hakanen from UPM, VP Innovation Åsa Ek from Stora Enso, CTO Johan Engström from ANDRITZ and many others.
Excursion to Stockholm – registration opens on 2 February 2024!
As a very special ending of the Pulp & Beyond week, PI will organize an excursion to Stockholm. The cruise will depart from Helsinki on 11 April and arrive back in the morning of 13 April. Excursion includes interesting and rarely available visits to AFRY headquarters and Stora Enso Innovation Centre in Stockholm.
Key information:
- Excursion is free of charge (small noshow or late cancellation charge will apply)
- In order to attend excursion you need to visit Pulp & Beyond 2024 event in Messukeskus
- There is a limited number of seats (max 72 people), so reserve your seat fast!
- Registration opens at PI website on 2 February 2024!
- There will be no coordinated bus transportations on 13 April (Pulp & Beyond bus transportations to/from Turku, Tampere, Lappeenranta and Savonlinna will take place only on 11 April)
