Traineeship in Brazil

Forest Products Engineers, together with its Brazilian sister association ABTCP, arranges traineeships in Brazil for students in the wood processing industry. The work in Brazil usually entails getting to know and reporting on the process and local working methods, but it may also include research and development work, depending on the needs of the factory and the background of the student. The traineeship lasts for 3 months and it takes place in the summer (between May and August). The Association supports the traineeship by covering the airfare, travel insurance, and the necessary vaccinations. The applicants must be members of the Association. The local employer usually covers at least a part of the cost of living (accommodation, meals, commute). The salary is determined by local wage levels.
