PI-FinnCERES Afternoon: Talents for the future bioeconomy - new DL 19.9.

Join us for a research-filled afternoon!

You are warmly welcome to a hybrid event jointly organized by FinnCERES and the Finnish Forest Products Engineers’ Association - PI. The event will be held on September 21st from 13.00-17.00 at Haukilahden lukio, Espoo.

You will hear about the recent successes of the FinnCERES Flagship and its upcoming events and activities. Moreover, you will have an opportunity to meet young talents building the future bioeconomy. Several PI-funded postdocs will give an overview of their career paths and Finnish candidates of the Young Researchers’ Challenge of the Marcus Wallenberg Prize event will pitch about their research. In addition, you will be able to meet FinnCERES researchers presenting their interesting research outcomes and prototypes on-site.

As a further highlight, we have a pleasure to announce that Raimo Kaunismäki, Project Director from the Infinited Fibre Company, will present a keynote talk about the recent investment in sustainable textiles from textile waste.

Raimo Kaunismäki works as Project Director in the Infinited Fiber Company. He is an experienced international technology professional with a proven track record in managing successful projects and sales in several countries for several types of advanced industries.
