Following the successful visit of the distinguished Indian business delegation at Pulp & Beyond in April 2026, in return, PI will organize a Finnish business delegation to India in collaboration with India Pulp and Paper Technical Association (IPPTA) on 27.11. – 5.12.2026. The excursion offers direct access to customers, projects, partners and decision-makers in one of the world’s fastest-growing pulp and paper markets.
India’s expanding economy, rising paper and board demand and ongoing mill investments are creating strong demand for advanced technology. Indian producers are looking for solutions that improve productivity, energy and water efficiency, automation, maintenance, environmental performance and product quality. The programme is designed to move beyond general market exploration and create focused discussions around concrete mill projects, technical challenges and procurement needs.
The versatile programme will provide a possibility to showcase Finnish technology solutions as part of IPPTA conference in Visakhapatnam, visit leading Indian paper mills and finally, take part in Paperex South India exhibition of over 250 exhibitors from 18 countries.

- 26 November: Arrival in India

- 28 November: Meetings and networking with executives from the Indian pulp and paper industry
- 29 November: Travel to the mill-visit locations
- 30 November–2 December: Project-based visits to leading Indian paper mills arranged by IPPTA

Participation fee:
- Package price for the full excursion programme 2500€+VAT/person, additional persons from same company -50%
- Additional 1000€+VAT / company for an advertising article in "Forest&Paper, Finland" marketing magazine, a special issue for the participating companies, which will be distributed during the business excursion to India
- PI member companies receive a 30% discount for the participation fee and advertising article

- Business excursion will be coordinated by Mr. Henry Hu of NFP Consulting Oy, who has more than 35 years’ experience doing business in Finland and Asia. He has chaired Nordic-Asian Forest & Paper – conferences in Finland since 2000, and organized several business delegations abroad to Finland and from Finland to Asia.
