Director of Digitalisation Pekka Sivonen from Business Finland will make opening remarks on the prospects of digitalisation in the bioforest industry and the wider society. Director Aki Saarinen from IBM, Principal Scientist Heli Helaakoski from VTT, Director Jarmo Kosunen from Honeywell Oy and SVP Harri Pihlajaniemi from Metsä Board will discuss the possibilities offered by the factory of the future incl. e.g. artificial intelligence. The panel discussion will be facilitated by Director Ville Mickelsson from Accenture Industry X.0. Managing Director Pekka Tiitinen from ABB will give a lunch speech. After the seminar, participants may visit ABB’s Pitäjänmäki factory, the largest industrial employer in the greater Helsinki area (limited seats available).
