PI's Autumn meeting will be held on November 19, 2025 at Pörssitalo, Helsinki. The Summit is free of charge for all PI members and it will be held as a hybrid event that can be participated in remotely or in person. Only the first 200 may attend the event in person.
The theme of the summit is Tariffs, Security, and Artificial Intelligence as Drivers of Change in the Forest Industry.
The program will explore current market conditions and future scenarios under the shadow of customs and geopolitics. It will also examine the risks and opportunities of AI and its present and future applications in the forest industry.
The event will be hosted by André Noël Chaker (in the picture). The speakers are:

The Summit day will begin with PI’s Autumn meeting, where, in addition to reviewing activities, membership matters, and awards, the proposed amendments to PI’s statutes will be discussed for the second time.
As a special program for students and recent graduates, we will also organize an excursion to Kemira’s headquarters.

Participation
All parts of the Autumn Summit can be participated in remotely or in person. When participating remotely, questions and comments can only be posed in writing via a message wall without the right to vote. More detailed instructions regarding participation will be sent after registration, at least one day before the event.
Payment methods
The event is free of charge for PI's members, students and applicants for annual membership. In addition, students' travel expenses from another location will be reimbursed within reasonable limits.
For NON-members the participation fee is 200 euros. The invoice can be delivered by post, e-mail or to the company as an e-invoice.
NB! Cancellations must be done 5 days prior to the event. If participation in the physical event cancelled later or if not cancelled at all, a fee of 20 euros will be charged.
