As a PI personal member you are entitled to many membership benefits and services. You are part of our unique network, receiving current news through Puunvuoro journal and our free webinars as well as breakfast and after work events. You are also warmly welcome to our other events at the member price.
Each member is very important to us and we hope that you reconsider remaining a member of the Finnish Forest Products Engineers' Association - PI. You can also read more about the PI membership benefits and services on the Membership Benefits pages as well as on the Youth pages for students.
Did you know that:
- You don’t need to resign from PI, for example, if you go on family leave, retire or are receiving sickness/unemployment allowance from Kela. We can grant you an exemption from the membership fee. Please also inform us if/when you return to work, so that your membership fee information is complete.
- Recently graduated students have a discounted membership fee for 5 years after graduation.
- Retired members have only voluntarily membership fee, accordingly to the PI's rule (§6). Read more about support membership fee here.
However, if you do want to resign from the association, please fill out the resignation form below. Remember that you are always welcome to rejoin PI!
Resignation form for a personal member
PI processes resignation notices twice a year, in the Annual Meeting in April and in the Autumn Meeting in November.
Membership cannot be terminated retroactively. According to the resignation rule (§5) a member resigning from the Association shall pay his/her membership fee up until the end of the membership fee payment period. The Association’s membership fee payment period is from 1 May to 30 April.
